Jindal – jack of all trades and a master of none

Bobby Jindal – A U.S. Congressman representing Louisiana’s First Congressional District. Jindal previously served as Louisiana’s Secretary of Health and Hospitals from 1996 to 1998 and President of the University of Louisiana System from 1999 to 2001, and was appointed by President George W. Bush as Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services for Planning and Evaluation from 2001 to 2003. Jindal ran against Kathleen Blanco for governor in 2003, and was narrowly defeated, having received 48% of the vote. Jindal currently has raised $5.1 million – putting him second in the campaign finance arena as of the April reporting period.

Now please enlighten me as to exactly where in this Jindal bio is any kind of significant accomplishment? First he tried health care – haven’t seen any improvements in the state yet. Next he was president of the U of LA university system – two whole whopping years. After that, back to health care. Then ran for governor. Then suspiciously moved from Baton Rouge to Jefferson Parish to run for the La. 1st district US Congressional seat – anything significant while in that office? Nah, can’t recall any, except him running around taking personal videos of the immediate post-K wreckage for a documentary. And now he wants to become governor again? Please spare me….

Boasso has a solid business background which is desperately needed in Louisiana, and he is truly from the disaster zone therefore he gets my vote – and Jindal will be out to pasture once again
